We have an established record of working with international partners to identify, develop and deliver educational services appropriate to the needs of these locations. Our consulting experience extends over many decades and across many of the world’s regions.
In devising the appropriate educational solution for an international partner, our approach is a bottom-up style where we engage with the local stakeholders, seek their advice, then propose options which we test again with our stakeholders before proceeding. We are respectful of the social, cultural and economic realities of our partners to devise unique solutions which respond to unique circumstances. We do not subscribe to top-down, “cookie-cutter” responses.
Cairns Language Centre and Cairns Business College combine seamlessly to provide wide-ranging specialties which offer a comprehensive suite of expertise. Where required we are able to invoke the expertise of our parent organisation – Charles Darwin University.
- We partner with national and provincial governments in the development of educational benchmarks. We hold agreements to evaluate how various jurisdictions meet these benchmarks. We also hold agreements which enable us to devise and deliver remedial and proactive strategies to achieve these community development and educational goals.
- We are the major sponsors of Tradlinked Cairns-PNG-Pacific. Our aim is to play a major supporting role in facilitating and promoting businesses to further develop and enhance business and trade activities between Cairns, PNG & Pacific region.
- We are the accredited Cambridge University English language test centre for Papua New Guinea.
- We have provided scholarships for students from South East Asia and the South Pacific as part of our commitment to the quality of education for people from these regions.
- We hold agreements with Education Queensland International for the provision of educational services to international students as they prepare for their Queensland high school studies.
- Our Eurocentres curriculum represents the best available application of the Common European Reference Framework in English language curriculum.
We are available to provide advice which is unique to the specific challenges which developed and developing economies require to achieve social and economic progress.
